Child & Adolescent Therapy
Dr. Robert Kennedy, Ed.D.
Change can be uncomfortable, but staying stuck can be even harder. For more than 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping children and adults better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and make meaningful changes that improve their everyday lives.
My approach is supportive, practical, and focused on helping you move forward. I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop healthier ways to think, respond, communicate, and cope.
Whether I’m helping a child build confidence and emotional regulation or supporting an adult through depression, trauma, stress, relationships, or life transitions, I believe therapy should give you tools you can use outside of the therapy room.
You don’t have to change everything overnight. Sometimes meaningful change begins with one different thought, one different choice, or one small step forward. If you’re ready for something to feel different, let’s work together to create the change you’re looking for.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel an appointment, just let us know at least two business days ahead of time. If you don’t contact us, or you don’t show up within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, we will need to charge your credit card on file the full amount for the reserved time. Health insurance doesn’t cover missed appointments, and LifeStance depends on timely, full payment to provide the highest quality of care to all of our patients. However, if an unforeseen situation arises—such as illness, bereavement, an accident, etc.—we will waive the fee if you can provide documentation that proves it.
