Meet Amanda
Dr. Amanda Cousin, LMSW
Navigating life after trauma, anxiety, or depression isn’t easy, especially when you’re carrying more than just your own pain. Whether you're a teen struggling to find your identity, a child overwhelmed by school pressures, or an adult working to break generational cycles, you deserve a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported.
I specialize in working with children (10+), teens, and adults who are managing a range of challenges including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, school-related stress, and the deep wounds of generational trauma. My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and grounded in helping you rediscover your voice and build a strong sense of self.
Breaking free from generational trauma means more than healing the past — it means learning how to live for yourself. Together, we’ll work to untangle patterns that no longer serve you, redefine what it means to feel safe and whole, and nurture your ability to grow on your own terms. Independence, identity, and self-trust are central to the work we’ll do.
